The board of directors meetings are normally held at the Schaumburg Regional Airport. The Airport is located at 905 W. Irving Park Rd (Rt. 19). This is near the intersection of Wright Blvd. and Irving Park, and can be reached by taking the Wright Blvd. exit off of the Elgin-O'Hare Expressway and heading south about 1/4 of a mile.
Meetings are held in the basement of the main building that also advertises "Pilot Pete's" restaurant on the upper floor, and uses the same entrance doors right off of the parking lot. As soon as you enter the doors, head down the stairs, and go all the way to the back of the building to find the conference room we normally have reserved.
The field day site is located at the Schaumburg water tank on Plum Grove road, about 2 blocks north of Golf road (Rt. 58).
The club meetings are normally held at the Schaumburg Community Recreation Center, located at 505 N Springsguth Rd, which is the intersection of Bode and Springinsguth roads. Their number is (847) 490-7015. This is in between Barrington road (on the west) and Roselle Road (on the east), and in between Golf road (on the north) and Schaumburg road (on the south). The Park District Map shows this as building "A", and has driving directions to get there.
VE testing at this location is being held in the senior lounge, which is just inside the entrance doors closest to Bode road.
Construction projects and other events are held at the STP Park District facility, which is located at 1416 N Payne Rd. Their main number is (847) 884-0678. Note that Payne road is only 1 block long, and does NOT connect to any major streets, so check the map to find out how to reach Payne road. The Park District Map shows this as building "K", and has driving directions to get there.
The Meineke Recreation Center Park District location is located at 220 E Weathersfield Way, and their main phone number is (847) 985-2144. This is just east of Roselle road, on the north side of Weathersfield Way. The Park District Map shows this as building "E", and has driving directions to get there.
The Schaumburg Police Department is located at 1000 W. Schaumburg Road. This is on the north side of Schaumburg Road, west of Roselle Road, and East of Barrington Road. The police department is next door to Schaumburg High School.
Maxfield's Restaurant is located at 700 E. Schaumburg road, which is the northwest corner of Schaumburg road and Plum Grove road. Their phone number is 847-781-0300. Link to a Google map is here
Rosati's pizza (the one usually visted after club meetings) is at 829 W. Higgins Road. It's located in between Higgins and Golf roads, west of the intersection of Higgins and Jones road (Jones is called Salem drive to the south). Their phone number is 847-884-0818. Google map of where it's located.
